The Biotek Pace Forum and Ignited minds of Electronics of P A College of Engineering jointly organised a talk on “ Goal Setting Strategies for Students on Friday, 26th August 2016. Dr. Uday Kumar R. Y., Dean(Student Welfare) and Professor, NITK, Surathkal, Mangalore, was the Resource person for the programme. The talk was mainly focussed on creating condusive environment at the campus to have good score card placement and overall development of the students. The talk guided young minds to take up measures to set goals for academic achievement.
Dr. Krishna Prasad, HOD, Dept. Of Biotechnology and Professor Abdulla Gubbi, HOD, Dept. Of Electronics and Communication and Professors from various other departments were present during the programme. The VTU Academic Toppers of the two Departments were felicitated.
Professor Shainy Mathew, Dept. Of Biotechnology welcomed the gathering. Professor Abdulla Gubbi introduced the resource person. Dr. Krishna Prasad proposed the vote of thanks. Miss Thasreen and Miss Sahadiya Nisa of 7th Semester biotechnology engineering compeered the program.
