Ignited Minds of Electronics,
ECE department forum organized a two days Robotics workshop at P. A. College of
Engineering on 30th September and 1st October 2016.The delegates were trained by Mr. Alok Kumar an Alumnus
of IIT, Kharagpur.
The inaugural function
commenced at 9.45am at the multipurpose hall.. The invocation was done by student Adil
Ibrahim, and a warm welcome speech by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi was delivered. He gave
a motivation emphasizing on the value of time and also narrated a short story on
�how taste changes with time�. The inaugural speech was by Dr. A.J Antony, Dean
Student Affairs of the college, the program concluded with presidential remarks
by Dr. Abdul Sharif, Principal who spoke about the importance of the workshop,
skills and Exams. He also briefed the students on how continuous improvement
leads to success; the vote of thanks was rendered by Prof. Saifudeen of
ECE Department and compeered by Shreya S of 7th sem ECE Dept. All
the faculty members and students were present to make event a grand success.
The workshop covered various modules with hands on training of robotics
platform developed using arduino. The students enthusiastically participated in
workshop and got orientation in the field of robotics .The workshop concluded
with competitions and students were facilitated by Prof, Abdullah Gubbi and
Prof. Sayyad Ameen.
