Department of Civil Engineering of P. A. College of Engineering, Mangaluru celebrated “Engineers Day” to commemorate 156th birthday of great engineer Sir. M. Visvesvaraya. Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Arun Prabha. K. S (CEO, Skycell towers and Infrastructures (P) Ltd.) Other dignitaries were Mr. Suraj Shetty (Marketing Manager, Ramco cement) and Mr. Devadas (Member of ACCE).
FORCE
(an association of Civil Engineering students at PACE) Activities 2016-17 was
inaugurated by displaying the logo for the year, which was followed by a
technical talk on “Parallel Constructions” by Mr. Arun Prabha. Dr. Palakshappa,
HOD of Civil department, talked about the achievements of Sir. M. Visvesvaraya.
Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief motivated the students with his talk on importance
and significance of Civil Engineering. Staff and students of Civil Engineering
department participated. Master of Ceremony was Mrs. Safa Mol.
