Inauguration of
‘RESEARCH,
INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB (RIEC)’
and
‘AEROCLUB
(ALOFT)’
The inaugural function of ‘Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club (RIEC)’ and Aloft (Aeroclub @PACE) was held in Edusat Hall on 27th October 2016.
The RIEC is an initiative for the students of all
engineering domains with innovative thinking, problem solving and leadership
skills. The RIEC provides a platform for these students to interact
with the students and faculty of different domains in bringing the potential
concepts in to innovations which brings positive change in the society. The RIEC also have an objective of moulding the students
into young entrepreneurs of tomorrow through identifying students with suitable
skills and train them in this direction.
Aloft (Aeroclub @PACE) is the first such initiative under the RIEC in association with Mechanical Engineers Association (MEA) whose primary objective is to encourage the students
to innovate in the field of aerospace which involves areas such as CFD
analysis, UAV etc.
The formal Inaugural function was held at 03:30 PM
in the presence of Chief
Guest – Dr. S A Khan (Professor,
IIUM-Malaysia and
Former Scientist – DRDO, Former Pricipal - PACE), Presiding Guest – Dr. Abdul Sharief (Principal, PACE), Guest of Honour - Mr. K. M. Haneef
(Director (Administration) – PAET), Dr. Ramis MK (Vice – Principal, PACE), HODs, faculty members and
