Department of Computer Science and Engineering Industrial Visit - 2019

Department of Computer Science and Engineering P.A. College of Engineering visited Infosys, Mudipu, Mangalore on 21.03.2019. Ms.Veena Amrith arranged such a wonderful session and Mr. Ravi Varma (Project Manager) shared his 20 years IT industrial experience, guidance for students and how to excel their career in IT sector. According to our curriculum, Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main reason behind this- it lets student to know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. Moreover, it gives exposure from academic point of view.
Main aim of Infosys visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment. They have provided students a good opportunity to gain full awareness about industrial practices. Through this Infosys industrial visit students got some awareness about new technologies. Technology development is a main factor, about which a student should have a good knowledge.
Students are very happy after visiting such a beautiful Infosys campus. Sincere thanks to the Infosian right from security check and till management, Mr. Hari S for their support and to make the event successful. Faculty member from CSE accompanied students are Dr. M Sharmila Kumari. Prof. Tanzeem Agra (SPOC, Infosys), Prof. Ganesh Pai, Prof. Hafiz MK and Prof. Safeeriya. Heartfelt thanks Dr. Abdul Sharief (Principal - PACE), Dr. Ramiz MK (Vice Principal), Dr Sarfaraz Hasim(Director, Academics) and Placement coordinator Prof. Hussain for their constant guidance and support during training, industrial visit and placement.
