Getting Started with AI: Turning Curiosity into Capability

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at PACE, in collaboration with the Embed Club, organized an engaging session titled “Getting Started with AI: Turning Curiosity into Capability” on April 23, 2024, for the department’s students.
The session was led by Dr. Jason Elroy Martis, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science and Engineering, NMAMIT, Nitte. Addressing second-year Computer Science students, Dr. Jason emphasized the growing importance of AI skills in the IT industry and demonstrated a few pre-trained models to help students take their first steps into the world of AI.
The event was graced by Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal of PACE, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, Dr Mohammad Hafeez, Prof Sakeena along with Prof. Habeeb Ur Rahman and Prof. Mohammed Saifuddeen, coordinators of the Embed Club. The session was highly interactive and received great appreciation from the students.
