Expert Interaction on “Institutional Autonomy”

The Expert Interaction Session on “Institutional Autonomy” was successfully conducted today, 2nd April 2026, at P.A. College of Engineering under the aegis of IQAC. The session began with a warm welcome address by the Principal, who formally received the resource person, Dr. B. E. Rangaswamy, Former Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University.
This was followed by an insightful presentation by the Principal, highlighting the institution’s 25-year legacy, key achievements, and important statistical data reflecting the growth and development of the college.
Subsequently, Dr. Rangaswamy delivered a comprehensive session on the autonomous application process, explaining the procedures, requirements, benefits, and challenges associated with attaining autonomous status. His session provided valuable clarity and strategic direction for the institution.
The program concluded with an engaging Q&A session where participants actively interacted with the expert and had their queries addressed. The session ended with a felicitation ceremony, where the resource person was honored with a memento by the Principal.
