On November 11, 2023, P. A. College of Engineering, in collaboration with BT Alumni, IEEE, EMBS, IIC, KTECH-NAIN Centre at PACE, and Biotech Pace Forum, organized the Industry Institute Interaction 2023: Student Mind Sensitization Program, themed "Idea to Impact-Crafting Clinical Research Topic." A total of 34 students, 5 alumni, and 4 faculty members actively participated in this interaction, conducted in a hybrid mode.

The coordination of the event was overseen by Dr. Krishna Prasad N, Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at PACE. During the program, Mr. Nischit Salian introduced the Indian Clinical Research Industry and highlighted potential clinical research topics, including Stem Cell Research, Cancer Biomarkers, Clinical Trials Design, Clinical Data Mining, and the Development of Diagnostic Kits.

Emphasizing the importance of choosing a research topic in the field of clinical research, he guided participants through the following steps: firstly, identifying their interests by reflecting on the aspects of medicine that intrigue them; secondly, thinking about specific areas, diseases, or healthcare challenges that align with their career goals.

Participants were then assigned the task of selecting a research topic, methodology, and expected results within the realm of clinical research. Dr. Ronald Valder delivered a conclusive remark, wrapping up the insightful session.
