The culmination of the 5-day IEEE EMBS workshop, "Aquatic Alchemy," on October 13, 2023, was marked by a distinguished valedictory function graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal-PACE, Mangalore, and Dr. Sharmila Khmari, Vice Principal-PACE, Mangalore. 

The event commenced with a soulful invocation by Ms. Sirin, a 7th-semester BT student, followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by Dr. Shareefraju J. Ukkund, IEEE faculty advisor, and Coordinator of Aquatic Alchemy. Dr. Ukkund, set the tone for the valediction. Addressing the participants, Dr. Ramis M. K. shared a profound perspective, stating, "Every ending is a new beginning." He urged everyone to actively engage in research endeavours that contribute to the greater good of the nation. Dr. Ramis also extended his best wishes for the participants future successes and lauded the Biotechnology department for the seamless execution of the workshop. The valedictory function resonated with valuable feedback from numerous participants who shared their enriching experiences from the insightful five-day journey. The diverse perspectives offered a glimpse into the collective impact of the workshop. Certificates were distributed to every participants and also to final year students who played pivotal role in conduction of workshop. 

The event reached its conclusion with a gracious vote of thanks from Dr. Krishnaprasad N., Chair of Aquatic Alchemy and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at PACE, Mangalore. Dr. Krishnaprasad expressed gratitude for the active participation and acknowledged the collaborative efforts that made the workshop a resounding success. In essence, the valedictory function encapsulated not just the conclusion of an event but the beginning of new avenues for research and innovation, echoing Dr. Ramis M. K.s profound words.
