Interdisciplinary Ingenuity: Revealed at PACE EXPO 2023

P. A. College of Engineering Mangalore hosted PACE EXPO 2023, a Med Tech Exhibition, on 28th November 2023, concurrent with Campus Chroma, a national-level intercollegiate competition for PUC and undergraduate students organized by P.A. First Grade College Mangalore.
The exhibition featured "Health is Wealth" and "Basic Life Support" stalls, powered by Kanachur Medical College Mangalore, showcasing best health practices and various life support details. "Surgical Implants", presented by Abone Surgicals, Bangalore presented a wide range of Orthopaedic Surgical Implants. The Robotics stall, presented by 5th Semester AIML students with the support of department coordinator Ms. Nishitha, highlighted projects like the Human-Eyed Robot, Wireless ID card machine, Electric bicycle, and Fire extinguisher robot.
Yantra, powered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, displayed projects by 3rd-semester mechanical engineering students during the PACE Expo program. The event was attended by Dr. Prashanth Pai, Head of the Department, Prof. C V Pujar, Prof. Navaneeth, Prof. Chethan, Prof. Kiran Kumar, and Dr. Abdul Razak. Dr. Maruthi Prashanth B H served as the faculty coordinator.
Hitech Hub, powered by the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering, showcased various mini-projects, including Reverse Parking Sensors, Snake game using Arduino, Automatic Solar Detector, Home Automation, etc. Electronics components were displayed under the coordination of Prof. Mohammed Saleem and Prof. Habeeb.
The Department of Civil Engineering presented civil engineering marvels from the present and past through various models under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Suvarna.
The Department of Biotechnology, under Dr. Shareef Rajus guidance, demonstrated the cold sterile tapping of tender coconut water for packaged storage.
The expo witnessed active participation from numerous students, contributing to its success. CAC coordinator Prof. Ismail Shaffi coordinated the event.
