National Energy Conservation Day was observed at PACE campus on 14th December 2023 to promote energy efficiency, raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation, and encourage sustainable practices. In a bid to address the growing challenges of energy sustainability and environmental concerns, PACE commemorated National Energy Conservation Day on 14.12.2023 in association with the Environment Cell. 

The day saw a series of events, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility towards energy consumption and promoting energy-efficient practices in all classrooms and administrative buildings. Student members of the cell, led by Prof. CV Pujar, Dr. Krishna Prasad N, Dr. Prashanth Pai and Prof. Shainy Mathew, actively participated in these initiatives. 

Dr. Ramis MK, Principal of PACE, stressed during the gathering that as the institute reflects on the success of National Energy Conservation Day, the focus now shifts to the long-term implementation of sustainable practices in the institute and our own houses. A memorandum was submitted to the Principal, on the occasion of celebration, to reduce power consumption in the campus by installing low power consumption appliances. National Energy Conservation Day 2023 serves as a crucial reminder of the shared responsibility to safeguard the environment. The collaborative efforts of members of the Environment Cell underscore the commitment to building a more sustainable and energy-efficient PACE Campus.
