On the 23rd November 2023, Mr. Nagarj, Sub Inspector of Konaje Police Station, visited P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore to address the final year students. The purpose of his visit was to impart valuable insights on the importance of adhering to drug and traffic rules in our society. The event was attended by students, faculty, and esteemed guests including the Principal, Vice Principal, and Dean Students Affairs.

The session began with a warm welcome extended to Mr. Nagarj and the accompanying dignitaries by the Principal, Dr. Ramis M.K. Following the introductions, Mr. Nagarj took the stage to address the final year students on the critical subjects of drug awareness and traffic rules.

Mr. Nagarjs talk on drug abuse began with alarming statistics and real-life examples, highlighting the severe consequences of substance abuse on individuals and society. His engaging presentation captured the attention of the audience, emphasizing the importance of making informed and responsible choices.

Transitioning seamlessly, Mr. Nagarj shifted the focus to traffic rules. He effectively conveyed the significance of adhering to traffic regulations to prevent accidents and ensure road safety. The Vice Principal, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, expressed her appreciation for the relevance of the topics discussed in shaping responsible citizens.

The event saw active participation from the students who posed insightful questions, creating an interactive and engaging atmosphere. 

As the talk concluded, the Principal, Dr. Ramis M.K., expressed gratitude to Mr. Nagarj for his informative and impactful presentation.
