The Department of Electronics and Communication, in collaboration with Ignited Minds of Electronics (IME) Club and MTTS IEEE Student Society, organized a distinguished lecture on "Wearable Antenna for Wireless Applications" on 22nd Dec., 2023 at Edu-Sat Hall. The event took place with great enthusiasm and participation from 2nd, 3rd and final-year Electronics and Communication students.

The distinguished lecture featured Dr. Mehaboob Mujawar, Professor from Bearys Institute of Technology, Electronics and Communication Department. Dr. Mujawars lecture delved into the intricacies of wearable antenna design, materials, and their applications in wireless communication. His insightful presentation not only provided a comprehensive overview but also sparked motivation among the students to explore and undertake projects in this evolving field. 

Dr. Mujawar emphasized the significance of hands-on projects, encouraging students to actively engage in practical applications of wearable antenna technology. He outlined potential areas for further research, inspiring the students to contribute to the advancement of wireless communication through their academic pursuits.

The session was marked by an enthusiastic atmosphere, with students actively participating in discussions and posing insightful questions. Dr. Mujawars engaging delivery and wealth of knowledge created an environment that fostered curiosity and a desire to explore the subject further.

The Academic toppers for the academic year 2023-24 were honoured by Dr. Mehaboob Mujawar, the chief guest. On the occasion, Dr. Ramis M.K, Principal, PACE gave the presidential remarks and urged the students to update the skills required by industry. Dr. Asif Hassan, HOD ECE, introduced the speaker. 

During the afternoon session the final year students and third year students conducted technical and non-technical events for second year students.

The Master of Ceremony was done by Ms. Haleemath Bushaira (5EC). The Prayer was recited by Mr. Ameenudhin (7EC). Ms. Thasfiya Banu (7EC) welcomed the gathering. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Muffariz.  Prof Mohammed Zakir,   Prof. Mohammed Saleem, and Prof Litti Mathew coordinated the event.
