On March 12th, 2024, at 9:30 am, the ISTE and IEI Student Chapters of P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore, organized a captivating technical talk on "Drone-Based Mapping" at the Multi-Purpose Hall. Dr. Pruthiviraju, Associate Professor from the Department of Water Resources and Ocean Engineering at NITK Suratkal, served as the resource person for the event. He illuminated the audience with insights into drone applications across diverse sectors, including agriculture, defence, oceanography, and port management. Various drone models were showcased, accompanied by detailed technical explanations.

The esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Ramis M. K., Vice Principal Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Dr. Prashanth Pai (HOD, Mechanical Department), Dr. Palakshappa K (HOD, Civil Department), Prof. Pujar C V Mechanical department, IEI Coordinator Dr. Praveen Suvarna, ISTE Coordinator Dr. Maruthi Prashanth B H, IEI Coordinator Ankitha Bakal of computer science department along with faculty, non-teaching staff, IEI Student Coordinator Mahamad Asif S and students from different departments, graced the occasion. Abdul Shaheed Kaiseeran, a student of the Civil Engineering Department, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, setting the tone for the event.
