KAUSHAL 24: Project Competition held at PACE

The Kaushal 24 - Project Exhibition and Competition was held at P. A. College of Engineering on 3rd May, 202. The event was organized by ISTE PACE Chapter in association with IEI, IEEE, and ASME-PACE Chapter, under the patronage of Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim, Managing Trustee of PAET. The event showcased outstanding projects and celebrated innovation.
The event commenced with a vibrant inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM in the Novel Lab, graced by the presence of all Heads of Departments, Coordinators and External Judges.
Throughout the day, a panel of expert judges meticulously evaluated a total of 54 projects, representing a diverse range of fields and disciplines. The esteemed judges included: Dr. Lawrence Joseph Fernandes, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SCEM, Mangalore, Mr. Mohammed Irfan MA, Senior Consultant at Synopsys - DevSecOps, Bangalore, Mr. Hasir Abdulla, Salesforce Developer, Department of Finance, Ajman, UAE, Mr. Mohammed Shahid, Team Lead, Novigo Solutions, Mangalore, Mr. Mohammad Sheraz, Programmer Analyst, Novigo Solutions, Mangalore, Rumais Abdulla, DevSecOps Engineer at SecIQ, Bangalore, Dr. Sanjith S Anchan, Assistant Professor, NIE Mysore and Ashalatha.A, Assistant Professor, P.A First Grade College, Mangalore.
After thorough deliberation, 12 projects were recognized for their exceptional creativity, innovation, and impact.
The Kaushal 24 Project Competition concluded with resounding success on May 3, 2024, at the Multipurpose Hall of P.A College of Engineering. The valedictory function, held at 2:30 PM, was presided over by Dr. Ramis M.K., Principal-P. A. College of Engineering, and welcomed by Prof. Afsar Baig, Co-Convenor of Kaushal 24. The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal-P. A. College of Engineering, Heads of Departments, Judges, Faculty Members, Final Year Students, and Mr. Sharafuddin P. K., AGM Campus, P.A Educational Trust, the esteemed Guest of Honor.
Dr. Farhan Zameer, Chief Scientific Officer, Alvas Education Foundation, the Chief Guest of the function, delivered a truly inspiring address during the valedictory function. He emphasized the paramount importance of nurturing innovation, creativity, and outside-the-box thinking. Dr. Zameer articulated how individuals can cultivate Kaushal, the skill, and encouraged participants to persistently pursue their passions, transforming their ideas into tangible realities through unwavering dedication and sacrifice. His words resonated deeply, instilling a renewed sense of purpose and determination within the audience. The winners and organisers were felicitated during the program.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Praveen Suvarna, Convenor of Kaushal 24, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
