Aug 13, 2024 - Aug 13, 2024
The NSS unit of P. A. College of Engineering organized an event under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on August 13, 2024, to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction and encourage students to pledge against narcotics use.
The event began with a pledge-taking ceremony, where students vowed to stay away from drugs and contribute to a society free from substance abuse. Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahammad, Director of the MBA program, and Dr. Zoheb Ali, faculty member, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of staying away from drugs and how such initiatives contribute to societal well-being.
The event was a success, with active student participation and valuable insights from faculty members. The pledge taken by students marks a significant step towards a drug-free campus and contributes to the larger goal of a drug-free India. The NSS units efforts were commendable, and it is hoped that the message will resonate with students and inspire them to continue spreading awareness about drug abuse dangers.
