EMBED CLUB PACE Organizes Workshop on Sensors and Actuators

On September 20, 2024, EMBED CLUB in association with Department of Computer science and Engineering conducted a workshop, "Navigating the World of Sensors & Actuators," tailored for second-year Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students. The goal was to provide in-depth knowledge of sensors and actuators, inspiring innovative mini-projects.
The workshop began with Prof. Habeeb Ur Rahmans introduction to sensors and actuators. Mr. Aakif Mohamed, Mr. Thameem Raaz, and Mr. Ahmed Thameem then delivered an expert session on essential sensors (moisture, touch, fingerprint, and flex) and their applications.
A notable highlight was the demonstration of sensor integration with electronic devices (smartphones, laptops) and remote data retrieval using the Blynk app.
This interactive session empowered students to design innovative projects, fostering practical knowledge and equipping them to create impactful second-year projects.
