The Department of Civil Engineering at P.A College of Engineering (PACE), Mangalore, celebrated Engineers Day on September 26, 2024, marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Sir M. Visvesvaraya. 

The program began with a prayer, followed by a welcoming address from Mr. Sachin Kumar, a final-year student. Dr. Palakshappa K., Head of the Department, delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Engineers Day, highlighting Dr. Visvesvarayas life and achievements. Er. Anil Vaman Baliga, a practicing civil engineer and Chief Guest, shared his expertise and experiences, offering valuable insights to the students. Dr. Ramis MK, Principal, emphasized the current applications of engineering and the critical role engineers play in serving society, stressing the importance of nurturing engineering talent at the college level. 

Ms. Saba Kulsum delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, non-teaching staff, and students for their active participation. Mr. Rizwan efficiently managed the proceedings as Master of Ceremony, while Dr. Praveen Suvarna and Prof. Chathan K. successfully coordinated the program. The event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students, making it a memorable celebration.
