The valedictory ceremony of the first-year engineering induction program was held on 26th September 2024 at 2:00 PM in the auditorium.

The event began with an invocation by K. A. Naufal, a first-year EC student, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. Dr. Supriya Bangera delivered a warm welcome address. Abdul Majeed, HOD of First-Year Engineering, presented a brief report summarizing the on-campus and off-campus activities of the induction program. Ismail Shaffi introduced the various professional bodies and their coordinators to the students.

Dr. Mohammed Zakir overviewed the IEEE chapters, emphasizing their role in encouraging cutting-edge technological research and innovation. Vittal Bhat briefed students on NPTEL courses and the importance of completing certification requirements for a BE Honors degree.

Mohammed Hussain discussed placement opportunities, stressing the importance of aligning career goals from the first year. Shareefraju briefed students on the International Conclave on Engineering Sciences and Technology (ICEST), detailing its global significance.

The ICEST proceedings were officially released by Principal Dr. Ramis M. K. Mohammed Faizal discussed soft skills training, explaining its role in shaping well-rounded professional engineers.

The in-house resource persons were felicitated with mementos. Prize distribution for the Pace Talent Quest competition winners followed.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sheethal Mohan. Syeda Mariyam served as the Master of Ceremonies, and Muhammed Wasim moderated the proceedings.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of the induction program, welcoming the 2024 batch to their engineering journey.
