Inauguration of Professional Course on Rivet Architecture

The Department of Civil Engineering at P.A. College of Engineering, in association with the Institute of Engineers (IEI) Student Chapter and FORCE, successfully inaugurated a professional course on Rivet Architecture on October 8, 2024.
The event commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Mr. Mubarish. Dr. Palakshappa K, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, emphasized the significance of add-on courses and their job-oriented applications. He highlighted the importance of such courses in enhancing the skills and knowledge of civil engineering students.
Dr. Ramis M.K., Principal, P.A. College of Engineering, further stressed the relevance of learning job-oriented courses like Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Rivet Architecture in the industry. He encouraged students to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their employability.
The resource person, Mr. Jackson Jebadurai, Director of CAED Tech Lab Training Center, Mangaluru, provided in-depth insights into Rivet Architecture, equipping participants with valuable knowledge. His expertise and interactive session made the program highly engaging and informative.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Mohammed Shaffique. Dr. Praveen Suvarna successfully coordinated the event, which witnessed active participation from Civil Engineering students and faculty.
