Empowering Future Developers: ECE Departments Successful WEB 1.0 Workshop Concluded

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in collaboration with the IME (Ignited Minds of Electronics) Club, organized a three-day workshop titled "WEB 1.0" from October 21 to 23, 2024. Under the guidance of Dr. Asif Hassan, Head of the Department, and expert coordination by Dr. Asiya Hazareena, the workshop introduced third-year ECE students to fundamental web development technologies.
The workshop began with an introduction to HTML on Day 1, where students learned the basics of HTML, exploring essential tags and web page structure. Interactive examples and a group activity helped reinforce concepts. On Day 2, participants built personal portfolios, applying CSS properties to enhance visual appeal. A quiz saw Shalva Rasli S and Hemanth Kumara H R secure top spots.
The final day focused on responsive design using Bootstrap components. Students gained hands-on experience, culminating in polished, mobile-friendly web pages. Munazza Begam served as the primary resource person, supported by coordinators Swathi Prabhu, Shailendra, and Samarth K.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory program, where Dr. Asif Hassan commended students enthusiasm, and Principal Dr. Ramis M. K emphasized web developments importance in todays digital landscape. Resource persons received certificates, and coordinators were recognized for their efforts.
The workshop provided a supportive environment, equipping students with a solid web development foundation. Participants left with newfound enthusiasm for exploring the digital world, grateful for the practical knowledge and engaging sessions. The successful collaboration between the resource person, coordinators, and Dr. Asiya Hazareena made the event a resounding success.
