A webinar on "VLSI 2.0 Analog IC Design" was delivered by Analog Design Engineer Dr. Vikas Balikai to guide fresh graduates in starting their careers in the VLSI industry. The event began with an inauguration by Dr. Asif Hassan, HOD, followed by an introduction of Dr. Balikai by Ms. Haleemath Bushaira. The session was coordinated by Dr. Asiya Hazareena.
Dr. Balikai discussed the promising career opportunities in VLSI and highlighted the importance of selecting a suitable domain based on individual strengths and interests. He outlined key areas in VLSI—such as Analog IC Design, Digital Design, Verification, and Physical Design—explaining the specific skills each role requires. Additionally, he emphasized the need for proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog, suggesting valuable resources and reputable VLSI training centers in India to support skill development.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mohammed Hussain, expressing appreciation for the valuable insights shared by Dr. Balikai.
