The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, PACE, under the banner of the department club Ignited Minds of Electronics (IME), organized an enlightening invited talk on "AI in Electronics”, at the E-Learning Center on 6th Dec., 2024. The event shed light on the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing the field of electronics.

The program began with Mr. Swabeeh, a third-year EC student, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Nikitha, also a third-year EC student. Dr. Asif Hassan, Head of the EC Department, set the tone by emphasizing the significance of AI in electronics and the contributions of the IME club in fostering innovative thinking among students.

The invited speaker, Mr. Afsar Baig, Assistant Professor, AIML Department, PACE, captivated the audience with his insightful talk on the importance and diverse applications of AI in electronics. He enriched his presentation by discussing real-world case studies that demonstrated the transformative potential of AI in modern electronics. 

The valedictory session was graced by the presence of Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal of PACE, who spoke on the importance of interdisciplinary learning and its role in shaping future-ready professionals. During the session, the new student office bearers of the IME club for the academic year 2024-2025 were introduced, marking a new chapter for the club. As a token of appreciation, a memento was handed over to the speaker by Dr. Asif Hassan, HOD of the EC Department.

The event was skilfully hosted by Ms. Haleemath Bushaira, a final-year EC student. Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Assistant Professor, EC Department, coordinated the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
