Electronix - Three days’ workshop on Hardware tools in Electronics
Dec 4, 2024 - Dec 6, 2024
The Electronix workshop was successfully conducted from December 4 to December 6 in the Communication Lab. The event featured resource persons Munazza Begam and Shailendra and was coordinated by staff coordinator Rugmitha C, along with a dedicated team comprising Kavya G, Swathi Prabhu, Shaheem Rahaman, Afham Baig B, Samarth K, N. Charitha Jain, and Vikshitha. The workshop aimed to provide participants with foundational knowledge, practical project-building skills, and insights into advanced hardware tools in electronics.
Day 1: Fundamentals of Electronics
The first day was dedicated to building a robust understanding of fundamental electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, and more. Participants gained insights into the roles and functionalities of these components, emphasizing their importance in circuit design and troubleshooting.
Day 2: Project-Based Learning
Day two emphasized hands-on project development. Resource persons showcased existing projects as practical examples, guiding participants on identifying problem statements and crafting structured solutions. This session provided participants with actionable frameworks for approaching real-world challenges.
Day 3: Advanced Hardware Concepts
The final day explored cutting-edge tools and technologies in electronics, including Raspberry Pi, ESP modules, and various sensors. Participants learned to integrate these advanced components into their projects, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory program, where Prof. Mohammad Hussain and Dr. Asiya Hazareena addressed the participants. They emphasized the significance of electronics in todays digital landscape and encouraged continued exploration in this field.
