The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at P.A. College of Engineering, in association with ‘’Ignited Minds of Electronics Club’’, organized an Invited Talk on "Fundamentals of Antenna Design" on 5th December 2024. This event aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of antenna design principles, focusing on its applications in modern communication systems.
The session was conducted by Prof. Mohammad Hussain K, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, whose expertise in the field enriched the students knowledge. The primary objective of this talk is to introduce the basics of antenna design and its applications in communication systems, to enhance the technical knowledge of students in the field of electromagnetics and wireless communication, to provide insights into industry trends and research opportunities in antenna design. The session was coordinated by Dr. Asiya Hazareena.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Mohammed Zakir B, who highlighted the importance of such talks in bridging academic learning with real-world applications. The session was delivered by Prof. Mohammad Hussain K, a knowledgeable and experienced academician specializing in antenna design and related fields. The talk covered key aspects of antenna design, including fundamental principles, design techniques, and challenges. Prof. Mohammad Hussain K engaged the students with real-world examples, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The session was held in F31 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
