PACE Alumni Conclave 2025 Inaugurated: Bridging the Past, Inspiring the Future

The PACE Alumni Conclave 2025, organized by PACENEXT Alumni Association, was inaugurated on 17th February 2025 at 11:15 AM in a grand ceremony attended by distinguished alumni, faculty, and students. This five-day event, scheduled from 17th to 21st February 2025, features tech talks by eminent alumni from various departments of P. A. College of Engineering (PACE), aiming to foster strong alumni-student connections and inspire future generations.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Vishnu Shashank, Founder of Ayush Care & Isiri Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and a 2004 IS Department pass out, along with other Guest Mr. Mohammed Safeer U. A., Vice President of PACENEXT Alumni Association and a 2018 Civil Department pass out. Other notable attendees included Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal of PACE, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, Dr. Sayed Ahmed Ameen, Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Habeeb Ur Rehman, Alumni Coordinator of PACE and Treasurer of PACENEXT Alumni Association, and Prof. Mohammed Saleem, Alumni Co-Coordinator of PACE and Secretary of PACENEXT Alumni Association. The program was also attended by 3rd-year students from all branches, who actively participated in the event, along with Heads of various departments including Dr. Asif Hassan, Dr. Palakshappa, and Dr. Manjula. Additionally, Department Alumni Coordinators such as Prof. Safa Sana, Prof. Divya J., and Dr. Abdul Razak were also present.
The event commenced with a prayer by Prof. Mohammed Saifuddeen from the CS Department, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Sayed Ahmed Ameen.
In his address, Mr. Vishnu Shashank spoke about the possibilities of technology, emphasizing the importance of seizing the right opportunities at the right time. He discussed AI opportunities, encouraging students to explore possibilities before determining execution methods. Additionally, he highlighted the significance of alumni relationships and networking, urging students to connect with alumni for guidance.
Mr. Mohammed Safeer U. A. motivated students to maintain a positive mindset and view themselves as heroes. He stressed the importance of alumni contributions, reassuring students that language is never a barrier to success. Encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and explore new opportunities, he shared his own experiences at PACE, including his participation in competitions and debates.
Dr. Sharmila Kumari shared insights on notable alumni contributions and the importance of alumni engagement in institutional growth.
In his presidential address, Dr. Ramis M. K. emphasized the role of alumni in the development of the institution, highlighting the significance of AI and technology in modern education. He also appreciated alumni networking and their contributions while acknowledging the Tech Talks initiative under the Alumni Conclave.
As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to Mr. Vishnu Shashank by the Principal and to Mr. Mohammed Safeer U. A. by the Vice Principal. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Mohammed Saleem, expressing gratitude to the guests, faculty, and organizing committee for their contributions in making the event a success.
