From Campus to Corporate: Mastering the Transition with Industry Insights

As part of the PACENEXT Conclave, an Alumni Talk Series aimed at connecting students with distinguished alumni from various departments, the MBA department had the privilege of hosting Mr. Mahammad Faizal, an esteemed alumnus and currently serving as Talent Acquisition Manager at TRC Companies.
During the session, held on 19th February 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the MBA Lecture Hall, Mr. Faizal delivered an insightful talk on “Bridging the Gap between Academia and Corporate Hiring.” He shared his expertise on the latest hiring trends, industry expectations, and essential skills for MBA graduates. Emphasizing the significance of networking, continuous learning, and adaptability, he guided students on how to successfully transition from academics to the corporate world. Additionally, he offered practical tips on resume building, interview preparation, and personal branding, making the session highly informative and engaging.
Students actively participated in the discussion, seeking career guidance and insights on industry expectations. As an alumnus, Mr. Faizal’s journey served as an inspiration, motivating students to focus on their career goals and professional development. To mark the occasion, a memento was presented to Mr. Faizal by Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal-PACE, as a token of appreciation for his valuable insights.
