The Women Welfare Committee, in association with the College Internal Complaints Committee, organized an invited talk as a part of women’s day celebration on the topic Reverence in Life on March 10th at P. A. College of Engineering.

The program commenced with an invocation by Ms. Riza, 3rd Year CSE, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Afra, 3rd Year BT. Ms. Sulafa, 3rd Year CSE, then introduced the esteemed chief guest, Dr. Taqiya Nuzhath, Associate Professor and Head of the Central Laboratory, Department of Pathology, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Ramis M. K, Principal, PACE highlighted the importance of motherhood and the remarkable multitasking ability of women. Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, PACE further elaborated on the crucial difference between equality and equity, emphasizing the need to ensure fair opportunities and treatment for women in all domains.

Dr. Taqiya Nuzhath, the chief guest, delivered an insightful speech on the concept of reverence in life, stressing the importance of self-respect and respect for others. She also underlined the significance of women taking care of their mental and physical health, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Asiya Hazareena, Associate Professor-EC Dept.,, who efficiently managed the event and ensured its smooth execution. Several distinguished faculty members graced the occasion, including Ms. Shafinaz Syed Ismail (Admission Officer, PAET), Dr. Shamna N. V. (HoD, Computer Science - ICSB), Ms. Shainy Mathew (Coordinator, CICC).

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Nikitha K. R., 3rd Year ECE. Ms. Mariyam, 2nd year AIML, efficiently compered the event, ensuring its smooth flow.
