Awareness Program on Digital Money Transactions, Drug-Free Society, Traffic Rules and Digital Scams

The NSS unit of PA College of Engineering organized an awareness program at DKZP Govt. Higher Primary School, Nadupadav on 12th March 2025. The sixth-semester students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department were part of the program. The program aimed to educate the society through the students on four key topics: Digital Money Transactions, Drug-Free Society, Traffic Rules, and Digital Scams.
The event was conducted in batches, with the help of informative posters designed by the students to effectively convey the messages to the younger generation. This approach ensured that the information reached every student and hence the community in an engaging and understandable manner.
The program was supported and encouraged by various faculty members, including: Prof. John Valder, the College NSS Coordinator, Prof. Mohammed Saleem, Prof. Rugmitha C from the Electronics and Communication Department. Their presence provided much-needed motivation to the students.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Vishnudas, along with other teachers, also played a crucial role in encouraging the students to actively participate in the event.
Overall, the awareness program was a significant step in promoting important social issues, and it successfully fostered a sense of responsibility among the young minds of the school.
