Invited talk on "Enabling Students with IEEE Project Topics through IEEE Xplore Awareness Session"

P. A. College of Engineering in association with IEEE-PACE Students Branch and Central Library and Information Centre-PACE jointly organised an invited talk on "Awareness Session" on 8th June, 2023, at CAED lab.
The session commenced at 10:30 AM with the faculty members in attendance. The resource person Mr. Srinivasa, conducted the session and provided valuable insights into the IEEE Explore platform. He began by introducing the attendees to IEEE Xplore, a comprehensive research database that offers access to a vast collection of technical literature.
During the event, he highlighted the numerous benefits of IEEE Explore, with a particular focus on its role in enabling students with project topics. He demonstrated the platforms user-friendly interface and showcased various courses and resources available on IEEE Explore. Furthermore, he discussed the new features that had recently been introduced to enhance the user experience and make research more accessible to students.
The event continued with separate sessions for the 6th CSE A and B sections at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, respectively. Students from both sections actively participated in the session, expressing their interest and curiosity about the IEEE Explore platform.
The event successfully provided the participants with valuable information about IEEE project topics and the resources available through IEEE Explore. Attendees gained a better understanding of the platforms capabilities, which would undoubtedly assist them in their academic and research pursuits.
