A THREE DAYS INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON “RESEARCH, WRITING & PUBLISHING IN REPUTED JOURNALS”*

Centre of Excellence for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship(CERI) in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), PACE, Mangalore, organized a three days workshop on “Research, Writing and Publishing in Reputed Journals (EUREKA)" on August 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2023. The workshop was inaugurated on 3rd August 2023 at 9:30AM in the multipurpose hall, PACE, Mangalore. The workshop is aimed to equip research scholars and academicians with essential skills and knowledge related to research writing, publication and dissemination. 

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest/Chief Mentor Dr. M. Abdul Mujeebu (Associate Professor, College of Architecture and Planning, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia). In his inaugural address Dr. Mujeebu emphasized the importance of effective research writing and its significance in contributing to the advancement of knowledge and academic excellence. He also highlighted the need for researchers to adopt high-quality research practices and ethical writing standards to ensure credibility and impact in their area of research. 

On 4th August 2023, Dr. Saif Abrar, (Advisory Systems Engineer, IBM) delivered an expert talk on the topic "Generative AI for Research Writing & Publishing: An Overview".

Dr. Mujeebu imparted in-depth insight into "Research, Writing and Publishing in Reputed Journals" during his various sessions in three days. 

Faculty members from various engineering colleges, first grade colleges and research scholars of Mangalore University (Indian/International) have attended the workshop with a great zeal and enthusiasm. 

The certificates to the participants and organizing committee members were distributed during the valedictory program.
