Prize Distribution Ceremony of Independence Day Celebration Events

The Prize Distribution Ceremony, on account of Independence Day Celebration Events which was meticulously organized by Department of Basic Science, NSS unit and First Year Engineering Students Association (FESA), was conducted on Aug 16, 2023 at E-Learning Centre of P.A College of Engineering. The Independence Day Celebrations encompassed a series of competitions like Patriotic Song, Colouring, and Poster Making etc. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Dayananda Naik, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Mangalore University.
Dr. Naiks eloquent discourse was dedicated to illuminating the significant contributions of freedom fighters in the struggle for Indias freedom and he explained about various aspects of freedom struggle from 1857 to 1947.
A momentous highlight was the address by Saleemulla Khan, the Principal of P. A. College of Pharmacy, who fervently stressed the imperative of collaborative endeavors among students across various domains for the holistic advancement of the nation.
The event was presided by Dr. Ramis M.K, Principal, P. A College of Engineering. His esteemed presence and guidence to the program was a remarkable one.
The other dignitaries included the eminent presence of Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal, P. A. First Grade College, Prof. K P. Soofie, Principal, P. A. Polytechnic, Dr. Sayyed Ameen Ahammad, Dean (Student Affairs), PAET, Prof. Ismail Shaffi, Head, Department of Physics & the Coordinator of Co-scholastic Activities, Prof. Abdul Majeed, Head, First Year Sections, Dr. Mitra, Head, Department of Mathematics, Dr. Iqbal, Director of Physical Education, Prof. Ismail S, NSS Coordinator, Heads of Various Departments Faculty Members and Students.
An integral facet of this gathering involved the felicitation of the triumphant winners of the various competitions, alongside the commendation of the academic achievers who secured top honours in the first semester VTU examinations. The cultural grandeur was further elevated by the soulful recitation of the holy Quran by Mr. Mohammad Rizwan, the gracious welcome extended by Ms. Noora, and the gracious proposal of the vote of thanks by Mr. Bilal. The program was compered by Ms. Ayisha afra.
