The Department of Training and Placement, in collaboration with the EDC Cell, organized an engaging and motivational talk by Mr. Shiras Valappil, a Product Owner and Business Analyst based in Newcastle, Australia. The session, titled "My Journey," was held on December 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM and was tailored for third-year engineering students, attracting an impressive audience of 200 participants.
Mr. Valappil shared his inspiring career trajectory, discussing his transition from being an employee to a business owner, the challenges he faced, and the driving forces behind his success. His talk also included practical advice on entrepreneurship, covering topics such as starting a business, securing investors, and crafting effective investment strategies. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students actively engaged with him, seeking insights into various aspects of professional and entrepreneurial growth.
