Team Codium Triumphs: Innovating the Metaverse at Hackfest-2024

Hackfest-2024, organized from 5th April to 7th April, 2024, by the NMAM Institute of Technology, brought together 60 teams from top engineering talents across India, featuring some of the brightest minds from renowned institutions like IIITs and NITs. Teams presented innovative projects in various fields such as Fintech, Sustainable Development, Metaverse, Healthcare, Logistics, and Innovation.
One of the remarkable team was “The Team Codium” comprised final year Computer Science Engineering students from P. A. College of Engineering: Shakeel Ahammed, Sulthanul faris, Touheed Ahmed, and Farhan Ahmed. Their project in the Metaverse category, utilizing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), captured the judges and industry experts attention.
Following thorough evaluations and tough competition, Team Codium emerged as the winners, securing the top prize in the Metaverse category.
Their project, which combined elements of biological research and space exploration, impressed with its innovation, functionality, and sustainability.
