The IEEE Student Branch of Electronics and Communication, P.A College Of Engineering-Mangalore had Organised webinar on the topic ROLE OF ENGINEERS IN ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION”, which was held on 22 JUNE 2021 at 11:30AM through Google meet Platform Co-ordinated by Prof. Zakir Bellary.

The Master of Ceremony by Haleema Shameela, IEEE Chair. The Welcome Speech was given by Nayef Ahmed, IEEE Treasurer. Introduction about Speaker by Saad Ahmed Mirani, IEEE Secretary.

The Guest Speaker Mr. Hashir Rahiman, Co-Founder at Unimation Robotics (Industrial Robotics and Automation Solutions) presented webinar, delivered brief explanation of factors that refers the use of control systems, Computers and Information technology in handling various processes and Machinery in Industry. He also added the major few fields of Robotics, Operator interface, Mobility, Manipulator and effectors, Programming and sensing and perception. And described advantages commonly attributed to automation includes higher production rates and increased productivity, more efficient, better product quality, improved safety, shorter workweeks for labour. Illustrated about "High end Professional career" Which tells about visions, trends, research, simulation and standardization of Robotics and Automation in upcoming years. Explained about what are Agenda of Robotics towards UG Students and reference. Thereby, we had a Question and Answer session which was quite interactive and nearly 75 participants were present throughout the session.
