Workshop on “How to present a quality Journal paper”

A workshop on “How to present a quality Journal paper” was organized by P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore in association with the department of Training and Placement, under the aegis of PACE-CSI and PACE-IEEE student branch on 2nd May, 2022 from 11:00 AM onwards. The workshop was held within the campus and the event witnessed the participation of more than 50 students.
The workshop addressed the final year students about the importance, significance and skills about Journal paper presentation in Reputed Journals. IEEE formatted paper was discussed and analyzed and demo was rendered to show final year students how to present a Journal paper from their final year Project report.
Usage of following tools was discussed with demo for application in paper editing:
• Turnitin
• Lanquill
• Quillbot
Finally, the workshop was concluded after responding to queries put forward by final year student.
