Student Empowerment
Programme on Mind Power and Careers in Professional Education was conducted
in P.A. College of engineering, for students who completed their 2nd P. U.
exams and are aspirants of professional education on Friday. About 62
students from various places of Mangaluru participated in the programme.
Prof. Surfraz Hasim & Dr. R. G. Dsouza were the resource persons.
Prof. Surfraz said that
focused mind will be able to achieve greater heights, hence regular conditioning
of the mind is very important. He guided the students through a self hypnosis
session. Dr. Rajesh D’souza urged students to select professional courses
based on their interest and not based on their scope. He stressed that
students need to be smart in selecting colleges and put in their best
effort in order to excel in their chosen course.

Principal inaugurated the programme. The validictory programme was presided
by Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal, PACE. Certificates were awarded to the
participants. Dr. Beeran Moidin, Director - MBA, Prof. John Valder, HOD -
EEE, Prof. Nabeel Cocurricular Activities Coordinator, Mr. Marzook &
Mrs. Shafinaz, Admissions officer were present on the occasion.
