Mini Anveshana Project Presentation Conducted at PACE Campus

The Mini Anveshana Project Presentation, an Initiative of Agastya International Foundation, and organized by IEEE PACE STUDENTS BRANCH was held on October 19, 2023 at PACE Campus. The various IEEE Societies namely Computational Intelligence Society,  IEEE Computer Society, IEEE EMBS, IEEE Robotics & Automation Society, IEEE WIE, IEEE AESS joined hands together in association with IIC to conduct this prestigious event, with participation of students from all branches. The exhibition was a remarkable showcase of creativity, innovation, and technological expertise and aimed to provide a platform for students to present their innovative projects and ideas, cultivating a culture of research and development within the college community. 
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal of PACE, who emphasized the importance of innovation and project-based learning. Dr. Ramis M.K, the Principal, expressed his gratitude by presenting floral bouquets to the project coordinator and the judges. In his address, he encouraged students to actively participate in various competitions and strive for excellence. The competition garnered participation from enthusiastic students across various departments and disciplines. In total, 33 projects were exhibited, spanning a wide array of subject areas. 
A distinguished panel of judges, including Dr. Manujesh, Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at VCET, Puttur, and Dr. Palakshappa, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at PACE, evaluated the projects based on various criteria. After careful deliberation, the winners were announced by Mr. Bhaskar S. V., Project Coordinator at the Agasthya International Foundation. The winners of the Mini Anveshana Project Exhibition are as follows:
1. Drone Cop (Electrical and Communication Engineering)
2. Mitigation of Landslide using GIS (Mechanical Engineering)
3. Effect of Biofiber and Eggshell Powder (Mechanical Engineering)
4. Extraction, Identification, and Characterization of Leaves of Memecylon Amplexicaule (Biotechnology)
5. Web3-based Metaspace for Virtual India (Computer Science and Engineering)
6. Carbon Footprint Tracker (Computer Science and Engineering)
The valedictory ceremony was graced by various dignitaries. Ms. Nidhi Shetty, a student from the Electronics and Communication Department, hosted the event. Dr. Manujesh delivered a thought-provoking speech on the role of smart future technologies in sustaining the five elements. Following this, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, the Vice Principal, addressed the gathering. As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to the Project Coordinator and the judges for their invaluable contributions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Manjula V, Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
