Internship Insight and Guidance: Preparing Students for Professional Excellence

The Department of Training & Placement, and Centre for Professional & Organisational Development, (CPOD), organized an orientation program on 25-10-2023 for the fifth-semester students of PACE, aimed at providing essential information about the upcoming Internship Program. The session was conducted meticulously and featured prominent figures who played integral roles in its success. The event  was  witnessed the esteemed presence of  Dr. Ramis M.K., Principal, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal,  Prof. Mohammed Hussain Training and Placement Officer, Mr. Mohammed Faizal, Head CPOD along with Heads of Departments and Internship Coordinators from various academic disciplines, all demonstrating their dedication to guiding and mentoring the students throughout the Internship Program. Dr. Ramis M.K, our esteemed Principal, graced the event with his presence and offered valuable insights into the importance of the Internship Program. 
Mr. Mohammed Faizal, Head CPOD, provided a comprehensive overview of the Internship program. His detailed presentation clarified the programs objectives, expectations, and the wealth of opportunities it presents to students, leaving them well-informed and enthusiastic about their impending internships. The students were sorted into distinct batches according to their academic streams. In Batch 1, Biotechnology students will receive training in medical coding. Batch 2 will consist of Civil and Mechanical Engineering students, who will undergo training in Building Information Modelling (BIM). Batch 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 will focus on Full Stack Web Development, Java, Cybersecurity respectively.
Prof. Muhammad Hussain, Training and Placement Officer, played a pivotal role in organizing and assigning students into specific batches tailored to their fields of study. His meticulous approach ensured that students interests and career aspirations were harmoniously aligned with appropriate internship placements.
Mrs. Heena Kausar P. A., Training and Placement Executive extended a warm and gracious welcome to the audience, setting a positive and inviting atmosphere for the session. This collaborative effort set the stage for the upcoming Internship, scheduled to commence on the 30th of October 2023. The program is designed to provide students with a platform to apply their academic knowledge in real-world scenarios, fostering holistic development and preparing them for their future careers.
