On a mark of Women’s day, P.A. College of Engineering celebrated a Women’s day on 30 March, 2021 at 3:00 PM. Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, PACE, inaugurated the day with her remarkable inaugural address. The celebration was with all the women employees of PACE. Nearly thirty women employees were involved in the event. A representative faculty from each department expressed their view on WOMEN’S EMPOWERMWNT on the occasion of Women’s day celebration. Prof. Sakeena, Department of Computer Science told that women can start empowering herself from her house itself. Prof. Divya Shetty, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering shared that, women can empower herself with help of her family. Also acknowledged P A Management for making herself empowered by giving opportunity to serve the institution. Prof. Chandana B. R, Department of Electronics and Communication conducted an activity by which message of women empowerment understood clearly by the gathering. Prof. Shainy Mathew C, Department of Biotechnology, enlightened the power of women as a daughter, sister, mother, wife, etc. Prof. Shama Abbas, Department of MBA, ultimately took her mother itself as a role model to herself in the path of empowerment of women. Prof. Aysha Afeeza, Department of civil, expressed the importance of education in the path of empowering the women.
In this platform Dr. Sareen, Department of Chemistry, was recognized for her renowned work in research. Prof. Mitra K, Department of Mathematics welcomed the gathering. The event was well organized by the program coordinator Prof. Ankitha Bekal, Department of Computer Science and Prof. Avvanhi, Department of Computer Science rendered the vote of thanks. The Program was concluded with high tea.
