World Environment Day observed at PACE

Environment Cell (EC) in association with NSS Unit and Young Farmers Club (YFC)observed world Environment day at P.A College of Engineering, Mangalore Campus on 6th June, 2022.
Dr. Ramis M K, Principal, Prof C V Pujar, In charge of EC, Mr. Sharfuddeen , AGM, DrPrashanthPai M, Head, Department of ME, Mr. Faisal, Head, CPOD, Prof Ismail S, NSS In charge, Prof Ismail Shafi, Head Department of Physics, EC Members from Various departments, Campus supervisor and team of gardeners were present during the occasion.
Students from various departments planted bio diversified saplings in different areas. Saplings of various verities like Mango, Chikkoo, Rambuton, Guava, Sandal wood, Blueberry, teakwood and many other varieties were planted.
Prof C V Pujar, In Charge of EC welcomed the gathering and spoke about how environment cell is working in the campussince 2018and told that more than 750 saplings are planted and maintained in the campus since then.
Dr.Ramis M K, Principal, addressed the gathering and spoke about various gardens that are existing in the campus withtheirlocation and in what way students can use the spare time to develop such garden. He also explained how young farmers club was evolved during COVID time.
