Technical Talk on “Zero Energy Buildings”

Department of Civil Engineering conducted a technical talk on “Zero Energy Buildings” on 24th August, 2022. The resource person was Mr. Amrithraj, External Consultant, Indian Institute of Human Settlement. Dr.Palakshappa K, HOD, Civil Engineering welcomed the gathering, briefed about the importance of Zero Energy Buildings and introduced Mr. Amrithraj.
Mr. Amrithraj emphasized the need of zero energy buildings in reducing global warming and climate change. He also emphasized how civil engineers, architects and other branches of engineering can work together in planning and design and functioning of Zero Energy Buildings. He also had an interaction with the students and faculty members of the department
All the second year students and faculty members of Civil Engineering have attended the program. Ms. Mariyam Aleena Mahin of 4th Sem rendered the vote of thanks.
It is glad to inform that Mr. Amruthraj is the alumni of PACE, ME, 2007-2011 batch.
