P.A. College of Engineering in association with First year Engineering Students Association (FESA ) conducted Sports meet for first year students on 25 January 2023 at PACE Ground. Sports meet was inaugurated by Mr. Sharfuddin, AGM, PAET. Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, PACE in her presidential remark advised students to take active participation in all the events and different teams with healthy competition. Dr. Sayyed Amin, Dean, student affairs PAET, Dr. Paalakshappa HOD civil, various Department Heads, first year faculties and first year non-teaching staff were also be present in the inaugural session.
The program started with Quran recitation by Mr Ibrahim Swabeeh followed by March past by Red warriors, Golden Arrows, Blue Hydras and Green Royal groups. These are the four groups formed to bring cordial togetherness of different branch and different section students from first year.
Several track events, field events and fun games were conducted for boys and girls. Pledge was taken by National Hand ball player Ms. Rubeena Ramlath first year computer science Engineering.
Golden Arrows (yellow group) won overall championship (including both boys and girls with 120 points). Girls championship was bagged by Golden Arrows (Yellow group)with 84 points . Green Royals (Green group) won the boys championship with 47 points.
The sports meet was well organized by Mr.Iqbal, Physical Director and Mr. Ismail Shaffi, Coordinator CoScholastic activity, PACE & Head Dept of Physics.
All first year teaching,non-teaching staff wholeheartedly involved in conduction of the events.Mr. Mohammed Wasim proposed the vote of thanks.
